WL Concrete began as WL Contracting in the mid-1990s. Co-founders Travis Landman and Chad White seized an opportunity to provide laser-grading services on large industrial projects. Their philosophy of identifying key clients with common values and supporting their projects across the United States provided a unique platform for growth. Today WL Concrete provides a full scope of turnkey concrete services nationally.
MANAGEMENT TEAM
TIM H. ROBINSON, Division Manager
Tim Robinson has broad experience in all phases of industrial concrete construction spanning over 25 years. Beginning with an entry level drafting position, Tim’s career developed with key positions in estimating, project management and marketing, leading to the organization and management of a national specialty concrete company. Tim has overall management responsibility for the division and supports estimating, project management and business development.
CHAD S. WHITE, Operations Manager
Chad White has more than 25 years of experience in commercial and industrial construction. Chad started as an apprentice cement mason and advanced through the ranks to management. As project manager for major industrial projects nationally, Chad had the opportunity to work with many of the leading contractors and individuals that have shaped our industry. Chad’s extensive hands on experience with critical concrete placements and his clear vision for the future keep WL Concrete on the leading edge of the concrete construction industry.
TRAVIS LANDMAN, Operations Manager
Travis Landman has over 20 years of experience in industrial concrete construction. Beginning as a field engineer, Travis held key management positions with leading national contractors. With millions of square feet completed under his direction, he brings a thorough knowledge of foundation systems, specialty floor applications, deferred toppings and all aspects of tilt-up construction. Through an interactive management style, Travis has transferred the company’s values for consistent quality and workmanship to a team of exceptional craftsmen. Travis’s ability to recruit, motivate and train quality individuals is essential to our success.
OPERATIONS TEAM
Exceptional people are the key to our success. We control all aspects of the construction process and self-perform our complete scope of work utilizing supervision and key personnel who have worked together for over fifteen years. Field management personnel are required to complete Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Construction Industry Training and First Aid-CPR certification..
MIKE LANDMAN, Project Superintendent
Mike Landman has over 15 years of field supervision experience and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from North Texas State University. Mike has worked on many high profile, fast-track distribution center projects nationally. He is OSHA 30 hour certified and has experience as safety officer.
KIP KAAIALII, Project Superintendent
Kip Kaaialii began his career in the concrete industry 20 years ago as a concrete finisher. Through varied experience on a diverse range of projects, Kip has developed skills in all aspects of concrete construction and equipment operation. Kip excels at directing multiple crews and coordinating activities on our larger projects.
OSCAR REYNA, Field Engineer/Superintendent
Oscar has 20 years experience in industrial and commercial construction. His broad knowledge of surveying methods and equipment are key to our success in the field. In addition to his accuracy behind the instrument, Oscar provides valuable leadership for multiple crews in the field.
JESUS AYALA, Finisher Foreman
Jesse has more than 20 years experience in concrete finishing. He and his crews have installed millions of square feet of specialty concrete slabs meeting the most stringent specifications and demanding design criteria including two-way post-tensioned slabs on ground, steel fiber reinforcing, shrinkage-compensating cement concretes, integral surface hardeners and SuperFlat tolerances.
DAN CONTRERAS, Finisher Foreman
Dan has been in the concrete industry for over 25 years. His broad experience includes formwork, concrete finishing and supervision. From our inception, Dan has been responsible for recruiting and maintaining key relationships that provide our access to skilled craftsmen.
