MANAGEMENT TEAM

TIM H. ROBINSON, President

Tim Robinson has broad experience in all phases of industrial concrete construction spanning 23 years.  Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology (Southern Technical Institute - 1978).  Beginning with an entry level drafting position, his career developed with key positions in estimating, project management and marketing, leading to the organization and management of a national specialty concrete division and company.  Since joining W L Contracting as partner in 2002, Tim has direct responsibility for office administration and lends valuable assistance in estimating, project management and business development. With a complete knowledge of specialty concrete slab systems and tilt-up construction methods, he can offer valuable input for a total concrete package solution. 

CHAD S. WHITE, Co-Founder

Chad White has more than 25 years of experience in commercial and industrial construction.  Chad started as an apprentice cement mason in Columbus, Ohio in 1974 and advanced through the ranks to management prior to founding of W L Contracting in 1995.  As a manager for major industrial projects nationally, Chad had the opportunity to work with many of the leading contractors and individuals that have shaped our industry.  Chad’s extensive hands on experience with critical concrete placements and his clear vision for the future keep W L Contracting on the leading edge of the concrete construction industry.

TRAVIS LANDMAN, Co-Founder

Travis Landman has over 20 years of experience in industrial concrete construction. Beginning as a field engineer, Travis held key management positions with leading national contractors.  With millions of square feet completed under his direction, he brings a thorough knowledge of foundation systems, specialty floor applications, deferred toppings and all aspects of tilt-up construction. Through an interactive management style, Travis has transferred the company’s values for consistent quality and workmanship to a team of exceptional craftsmen.  Travis’s ability to recruit, motivate and train quality individuals is essential to our success.

OPERATIONS TEAM

Exceptional people are the key to our success.  We control all aspects of the construction process and self-perform our complete scope of work utilizing supervision and key personnel who have worked together for over fifteen years…

All of our field management personnel have completed the required occupational safety and health (OSHA) training course in Construction Safety and Health.

MIKE LANDMAN, Project Superintendent

Mike has over 15 years of field supervision experience and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from North Texas State University.  Mike has worked on many high profile, fast-track distribution center project nationally.  He is OSHA 30 hour certified and has experience as safety officer.

JESUS AYALA, Finisher Foreman

Jesse has more than 20 years experience in concrete finishing.  He and his crews have installed millions of square feet of specialty concrete slabs meeting the most stringent specifications and demanding design criteria including two-way post-tensioned slabs on ground, steel fiber reinforcing, shrinkage-compensating cement concretes, integral surface hardeners and SuperFlat tolerances. 

KIP KAAIALII, Project Superintendent

Kip started his career in the concrete industry 20 years ago as a concrete finisher. Over the years Kip excelled in all aspects of concrete construction and equipment operation. Kip is currently field superintendent, responsible for all project activity and client liaison.

MARK JACKSTADT, Project Superintendent

Mark has over 25 years of experience in form setting, concrete finishing and project management. Mark is responsible for the successful completion of several projects including both military and correctional facilities.

JIM SAVAGE, Project Superintendent

In Jim’s 25+ year career he has successfully managed and completed many projects as field engineer and superintendent. Jim is responsible for project layout, field supervision and project management.

DAN CONTRERAS, Finisher Foreman

Dan has been in the concrete industry for over 25 years. His experience includes form setting, concrete finishing and carpentry. Dan is also responsible for recruiting and maintaining field personnel.
